Art in the Park Application

Lynchburg Parks & Recreation is currently accepting applications from artists for Art in the Park at Riverside Park

Saturday, May 13, 2023 10am-3pm.

Rain Date- May 14, 2023 10am-3pm.

Artists must apply for your space by May 7. Each space will be 15′ x 15′. After filling out the application Lynchburg Parks and Recreation staff will send you an email that will share the application fee link. This $50 payment needs to be paid by May 7th to participate.

Pop up tents, display walls, and any additional display materials are allowed. Lynchburg Parks and Recreation will not be providing tables.

Live demonstrations are encouraged at your booth.

Space location will be determined and assigned by Lynchburg Parks and Rec staff.

ENTRIES:

Please submit three examples of your work that will be displayed/sold at Art in the Park below. You may also submit your entries as hard copies. Deliver all hard copies to Help Desk at Miller Center, 301 Grove St.

File types accepted: JPEG, PNG, WORD, PDF. Mediums included but not limited to: Photography, Painting, Sculpture, Wood Work, Live Art Demonstrations, and Pottery.

If unable to submit examples of work please email them to anna.filiaggi@lynchburgva.gov.

Event Timeline

8:00am – 9:45am Artist Check-In: Drop off artwork and set-up

10:00am – 3:00pm Event

3:00pm – 4:00pm Clean Up

LIABILITY & PUBLIC USE AGREEMENT:

Lynchburg Parks & Recreation will not be held responsible for any damage or loss. Lynchburg Parks & Recreation has the right to use images of any artwork submitted for display to help promote the event. Artist accreditation will be given when possible, but Lynchburg Parks & Recreation is not responsible for omissions in any publication.
